Kenneth Hooper, president of Louisville Interiors Design & Décor (LIDD), founded the company in 1988, and has over 25 years of experience in creating custom interiors. Hooper has a BA in Arts & Science with a concentration in Interior Design from the University of Louisville. He extended his studies in Art & Architecture at the University of Perugia, Italy.
The LIDD philosophy is to combine style, comfort and appropriateness to create spaces which are elegant and inviting, comfortable and livable, as well as sophisticated. Ken Hooper is widely known for his use of color – he is not afraid to use bright, energizing and beautiful colors in his work and for his clients.
Team Approach Paul Wilson, showroom manager, and Amy Smith, design assistant, help Ken Hooper in the day to day operations of the business, overseeing production, operations and management of the firm. Brett Brunner and the Art of Framing are housed inside LIDD; offering custom framing to meet every customer’s needs.
Additionally, Ken and the staff at LIDD have extensive experience working with architects and builders on construction and remodeling projects and welcome a team approach. Professionalism and service are of the highest importance in all LIDD projects.

Hooper was awarded the Bellarmine Women’s Council Designers Show House on five separate occasions in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998 and 1999. He receive the Preservation Award in 1993.
